Just A Glimpse

Makenzie and Brian are two of the sweetest humans to ever walk this earth. When they called and asked if I would be willing to travel for their wedding in Hawaii ( a little further than I had for their engagements- Austin,Tx) I of course said yes. Fast forward to the weekend out of a movie- first a boat ride where a good amount of us got sick, then a night of celebrating the bride and groom separately, and a long drive to north shore where the rain got the better of us. It's safe to say this "movie-esque" wedding was kicking our a**es and at each step of the way there was nothing but laughter, community, and deep deep understanding.This couple filled a house with strangers that left life long friends - AND that is what a wedding is about.


The final day of events was the wedding itself, at the gorgeous Kualoa Ranch. In true Hawaii wedding fashion we were blessed with a heavy pour of rain during the vow exchange, a perfect window of weather during the ceremony, and more rain during the reception. There were too many sweet moments to share in this blog so please enjoy the glimpse into the endless love these two share.
